Anghenion dysgu Ychwanegol / Additional learning needs

Croeso i dudalen ADY

Rydym yn gweithio’n galed i sicrhau bod pob plentyn yn teimlo’n hapus, llwyddiannus a diogel yn yr ysgol. Mae’r tîm ADY a Lles yn gweithio gyda’i gilydd i ddarparu cymorth ac ymyrraethau ychwanegol i blant i’w helpu i ddatblygu eu sgiliau dysgu, cyfathrebu, ymddygiad ac emosiynol. Gweithiwn i roi cyfle i bob disgybl gyflawni ei botensial personol, teimlo’n hyderus yn ei allu ei hun a meithrin cariad at ddysgu. Rydym yn ystyried pob unigolyn yn bwysig ac rydym yn gwneud ein gorau glas i sicrhau bod y plant yn mwynhau eu hamser yn yr ysgol ac yn ein gadael yn ddisgyblion hapus, hyderus a chyflawn. O ganlyniad, credwn fod cyfathrebu effeithlon a rhagorol rhwng rhieni, staff a phlant yn hollbwysig ac yn allwedd i lwyddiant.

Mae'r staff yn cyfarfod yn wythnosol i drafod lles disgyblion. O ganlyniad, mae gan yr holl athrawon wybodaeth lawn a dealltwriaeth gynhwysfawr o'n disgyblion. Os oes achos pellach i bryderu, cysylltir â rhieni fel bod partneriaeth tair ffordd yn ein galluogi i gynllunio'r ffordd ymlaen. Gellir cyfathrebu trwy lythyr, sgwrs ffôn, e-bost a nosweithiau rhieni. Fodd bynnag, credwn mai'r ffurf orau o gyfathrebu yw trwy ddull uniongyrchol ac mae gennym bolisi drws agored yma yn Ysgol Bro Allta. Mae gan yr holl staff, Cynorthwywyr Dysgu, Gofalwr, Cogyddes Ysgol, ynghyd â'r Goruchwylwyr Amser Cinio rôl bwysig i'w chwarae a chydweithio i sicrhau bod amser y plant yn yr ysgol yn un hapus.

Mae ein tîm yn cefnogi disgyblion, o fewn y dosbarth a thrwy sesiynau cefnogi eraill yn ein Cwtch/ystafell lles.

Os ydych yn pryderu am eich plentyn a’r cynnydd y mae’n ei wneud yna siaradwch â’u hathro dosbarth yn y lle cyntaf. Mae ein Cydlynydd Anghenion Dysgu Ychwanegol hefyd ar gael i wrando ar unrhyw bryderon sydd gennych am eich plentyn.

At Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Allta, we work hard to ensure that all children feel happy, successful and safe in school. The ALN and Wellbeing team work together to provide children with additional support and interventions to help develop their learning, communication, behaviour or emotional skills. We work to allow all pupils the opportunity to achieve their personal potential, feel confident in their own ability and nurture a love of learning. We regard all individuals as important and we do our utmost to ensure the children enjoy their time at the school and leave us as happy, confident and well-rounded pupils. As a result, we believe efficient and excellent communication between parents, staff and children is the key to success.

The staff meet weekly to discuss pupils' pastoral welfare and wellbeing. As a result, all teachers have a full knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of our pupils. If there is further cause for concern, parents will be contacted so that a three way partnership enables us to plan a way forward. Communication can take place via a letter, telephone conversation, email and parents' evenings. However, we believe the best form of communication is through a direct approach and we have an open door policy here at Ysgol Bro Allta. All staff, Teaching Assistants, Caretaker, School Cook, as well as the Lunchtime Supervisors have an important role to play and work together to ensure the children's time at school is a happy one.

Our team supports pupils, both within the classroom and through planned support sessions in other areas like the Cwtch and the Wellbeing Room.

If you are concerned about your child and the progress he/she is making then please speak to their class teacher in the first instance, our Additional Learning Needs Co-ordinator is also available to listen to any concerns you may have regarding your child.
