Rydym ni yma ym Mro Allta wedi dechrau datblygu'r Cwricwlwm Newydd i Gymru a fydd yn statudol o Fedi 2022.
Beth yw bwriad y Cwricwlwm Newydd?
Bydd y cwricwlwm newydd yn pwysleisio ar roi i bobl ifanc y sgiliau sydd eu hangen arnynt ar gyfer bywyd. Bydd y Cwricwlwm yn datblygu eu gallu i ddysgu sgiliau newydd a defnyddio’u gwybodaeth bynciol yn fwy effeithiol ac mewn ffordd fwy creadigol. Mae yna bwyslais ar ar llais y disgybl ac i sicrhau maent hwy yn derbyn y cyfle i lliwio'u addysg. Mae'r Cwricwlwm Newydd hefyd yn datgan cyfle i'r dysgwyr i gyflwyno sgiliau digidol ar draws y cwricwlwm, gan baratoi ar gyfer y cyfleoedd a’r risgiau sydd ynghlwm wrth y byd ar-lein.
Y 4 Diben.
Mae'r 4 Diben yn man cychwyn a’r dyhead ar gyfer pob plentyn a pherson ifanc yng Nghymru. Yn y pen draw, nod cwricwlwm ysgol yw cefnogi ei dysgwyr i ddod yn:
- ddysgwyr uchelgeisiol, galluog sy'n barod i ddysgu gydol eu bywydau
- gyfranwyr mentrus, creadigol sy’n barod i chwarae rhan lawn mewn bywyd a gwaith
- ddinasyddion egwyddorol, gwybodus yng Nghymru a’r byd
- unigolion iach, hyderus sy'n barod i fyw bywyd cyflawn fel aelodau gwerthfawr o gymdeithas.

Curriculum
A new curriculum for Wales is currently being developed and will be statutory from September 2022. Here in Bro Allta we have begun our journey to implement to these requirements.
What is the aim of the New Curriculum?
The New Curriculum will focus on equipping young pupils with life long skills. The Curriculum will develop their ability to learn new skills and apply their subject knowledge more effectively and creatively. There is an emphasis on the pupil's voice with an opportunity to color their education. The New Curriculum also presents learners with the opportunity to introduce digital skills across the curricumlum, preparing for opportunities and risks of the online world.
4 Purposes
The 4 purposes is a starting point and aspiration for all children and young people in Wales. Ultimately, the aim of a school curriculum is to support its learners become:
•Ambitious, capable learners, ready to learn throughout their lives
•Enterprising, creative contributors, ready to play a full part in life and work
•Ethical, informed citizens of Wales and the world
•Healthy, confident individuals, ready to lead fulfilling lives as valued members of society

Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Competency skills will be taught across each of the 6 Areas of Learning
